Part of the Emirates Group, Transguard Group LLC comprises seven divisions involved with security, cash management services, consultancy, training and project management, facilities management, airport services and IT hardware and software systems.

The MoU was signed in Dubai by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, and His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Chairman, Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT).

Sheikh Ahmed said: “I am very pleased to officially bring together Transguard and CERT through this Memorandum of Understanding which will enable both parties to forge a strong working relationship for the benefit of our mutual clients.  I’m sure it will also encourage further commercial initiatives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

“CERT is highly regarded for taking the lead in the commercial development of education and technology within the UAE and Transguard’s technical and consultancy expertise will give comprehensive support to all the relevant business ventures undertaken by CERT.”

In June, Transguard Group will open offices in Abu Dhabi within the CERT Technology Park.

“CERT is proud to associate itself with Transguard, an Emirates Group company, as it provides critical safe and secure services.  CERT’s collaboration would also enable Transguard to offer training and development programmes to develop safety and security professionals in the region.”
