CERT Dubai through its affiliation with Harrisburg Community Colleges, Pennsylvania has been offering first aid, CPR, first respondent and allied training to the community and trained staff of the emergency medical services department of DWTC.  At a ceremony this morning these graduates were awarded their certificates. 

The success of the first program is such that DWTC has signed an additional contract with CERT Dubai to supervise the training of 1000 additional DWTC employees, and to assess and award certification over the next 12 months.

The signing and press conference was organized by DWTC at their premises, Dubai World Trade Centre, Board Room, Podium Building and was attended by Mr. Helel Saeed Khalfan Al Marri, Director General of DWTC and Dr. Tayeb A. Kamali Vice-Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology and Vice-Chairman of CERT, Dr. Robert Richards, CEO of CERT, and Mr. Ranjit Gajendra, Manager of CERT Dubai.
