Food Inspection has become an increasingly important technology in a world of ever increasing health safety awareness. The purpose of this program is to provide trainee employees from Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority with a comprehensive training in Food Inspection technology.

This is a 3 year full time program for General Secondary School graduates, who are employed by the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority. The program comprises a common foundation year in English, Mathematics, Computers and Basic Technical skills. The second and third years focus on specialized courses in Food Inspection, with Work Experience and hands on projects forming the practical components of this program.

All practical training sessions take place at the Food and Environment Control Center, various Food premises in the UAE and Abroad. Formal teaching and laboratory work is conducted at the Abu Dhabi Men's College.

The programs include:

• Food inspection Diploma (in Abu Dhabi and Al-Ain),
• Food Inspection Higher Diploma,
• Food Science and Technology HD and BAS,
• Food Analysis HD and BAS and Food Safety BAS.
