The mission of the Higher Diploma in Paramedical Studies is to produce appropriately qualified Ambulance Paramedics who can fulfill the required roles within the U.A.E in emergency and pre-hospital care and contribute effectively to Emiratization. Graduates from this program will possess the linguistic ability, the technical skills, and the intellectual leadership potential to make the fullest possible contribution to the delivery of prehospital emergency medical care of high standard for the residents of UAE. Graduates of this program receive a Bachelors of Applied Science in Nursing degree and are ready to take on roles as nurses in a variety of setting in hospitals, community, schools and rural areas health care settings.  In addition to direct patient care nurses with experience take on a variety of roles related to advising on health care standards and policy.  Modern nursing requires people from diverse backgrounds, both men and women to ensure that it represents the community it serves.

Medical Lab Technology
This Program is sponsored by Health Authority- Abu Dhabi (HAAD). It is a higher Diploma followed by a one year BAS program. The mission of the Medical Laboratory Technology program is to provide an education forum responsive to the needs of the student and also responsive to the health care community, both locally and nationally, focusing on professionalism and contributing to quality patient care. This program is committed to providing quality teachings in clinical aspects, and practical experiences. This creates a solid foundation for graduates, encompassing the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains of learning, to prepare its graduates to work upon career entry as competent, ethical, confident medical laboratory technicians in health care facilities. These graduates are committed to professional development through life-long learning in a positive, non-discriminatory and supportive learning environment.
Graduates of the BAS Program receive a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technology and are ready to take on roles as members of the health care team.  Medical Laboratory Technologists are professionals that utilize their interest in science to assist physicians in diagnosis and monitoring patient care.  Graduates work with a team of health care members in a lab environment within hospitals and community settings.  Medical Laboratory Technologists integrate immunology, microbiology, serology, cytology, virology, and hematology. Medical Laboratory Technology requires both men and women with a strong interest in science, particularly laboratory science, who can work collaboratively in a health care team.

Medical Imaging
This Program is sponsored by Health Authority- Abu Dhabi (HAAD). It is a higher Diploma Program followed by one year BAS Program.
The mission of the Higher Diploma in Medical Imaging is to produce appropriately qualified Radiographers who can fulfill the required roles within the U.A.E. in Medical Imaging and contribute effectively to Emiratization. Graduates from this program will posses the linguistic ability, technical skills and intellectual leadership potential to make the fullest possible contribution to the delivery of high quality Medical Imaging services to residents of the U.A.E. The Higher Diploma in Medical Imaging program pursues its mission through program objectives aligned with the HCT Graduate Outcomes.   
Graduates of the BAS program receive a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging and are ready to take on roles as a member of the health care team as imaging specialists.  Medical Imaging Technologists use their interest and expertise in both sciences and math to assist both the physician and the health care team in the visual diagnosis of a variety of health care conditions.  Graduates work in hospitals, private clinic settings, government agencies and industry settings.  Modern medical imaging requires both women and men with a strong interest in people and the sciences.
