About CERT-> Investors/IPO

Since its creation in 1996, the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) has been synonymous with quality in education, training, research, and socioeconomic progress. Over the years, CERT has helped thousands of professionals and companies meet their goals and achieve the next level in their development, and it is now the largest private education provider in the region.

CERT has enjoyed a fortuitous growth trajectory over the last decade, and sees an even brighter future ahead. Under the leadership of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Chairman of CERT, the company aims to further expand its offering in education and training to have an even greater positive impact on the UAE society and to ensure a regional and global growth cycle.

To enable this vision, and to encourage public participation in it, CERT intends to raise AED one billion and offer 55% of its share capital to the public in the form of an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The proceeds from the IPO will enable incremental growth in CERTs existing strong revenue base, while expanding the depth and breadth of the companys education and technology holdings. In addition to the prospect of exceptional financial returns, investors can participate in a project that has immeasurable socioeconomic benefits for the country and its people.

The IPO process will enable further growth of CERTs business units, CERT Education and Research City will add the physical infrastructure components needed to bring Education, Training and Business Incubation to its full potential.
